Jason Jordan retired from in-ring competition far earlier than anyone expected, in his late 20s. He started working as a producer shortly after, and has done so well with this role, he recently got a big promotion.

There has been a massive shake-up backstage in the WWE. Some people were brought in, others were fired.

According to PW Insider, Jason Jordan also ended up getting some good news. He got a huge promotion.

Jordan landed the role of Lead Producer. As John Laurinaitis was moved to talent relations, ranks were changed for WWE producers.

Much More Responsibilities

The report also states that Jordan has been given added responsibilities with this role. Jason will be taking over some of the things Laurinaitis did as Lead Producer.

This means Jason Jordan will oversee all others during television tapings. Sounds like Jordan is thriving backstage.

Jason Jordan was so young when he stepped away from the competition. Yet, he accomplished so much in the shortened career he had.

In late 2017, he becomes the first WWE superstar to hold all three tag team championships. This included NXT, SmackDown, and RAW tag titles.

But, he experienced a neck issue that needed surgery, and the situation seemed dire. Jordan was moved to a backstage role and continues to impress WWE officials.

Speaking of injury, there are reports that a WWE superstar is not cleared to wrestle. Although, it’s hard to pinpoint who that is, exactly.

WWE Superstar Not Cleared To Wrestle

The RAW Tag Team Champions haven’t received that much screen time on Monday nights. That will seemingly change very soon, as per AJ Styles and Omos.

This week, the Red brand tag champs visited WWE’s The Bump. Styles revealed the twosome had been partying it up in Nigeria, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

According to Fightful Select, at least one of the two RAW tag champions is not currently cleared to wrestle. The report did not specify whether it was Styles or Omos.

They’re Ready To Rumble

The bad news is that one of them was not cleared. The good news is that it seems they could be ready to fight soon.

The two claimed that they’ll be in the ring for the May 3rd edition of RAW. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.

Since AJ Styles and Omos won the titles at WrestleMania 37, they haven’t been mentioned on Monday Night RAW. Here’s hoping whoever needs it, will be cleared for competition.

AJ Styles has had a phenomenal career with the WWE since joining the company in 2016. Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion, in five years, he’s literally “done it all”.

Omos seems to be on the right track for success in the company, too. He debuted in October 2020, as AJ’s bodyguard.

With his height and physique, Omos is an intimidating athlete. In about six months after stepping in a RAW ring, he was able to snag those tag team titles at WM 37, along with Styles.

Here’s hoping there will be more of AJ and Omos in the near future. RAW needs to place a spotlight on storylines within their tag team division.
