Maddox Jolie-Pitt Gives “Unflattering” Testimony Against Brad In Angelina Jolie Custody Battle

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s oldest son Maddox Jolie-Pitt testified against his father in the former Hollywood couple’s custody case. “It wasn’t very flattering” a source reveals.

Brangelina split in 2016 after being together for 12 years and married for two of those years.

Five years later, they are still working through the rubble of custody for their six children.

Angelina adopted the older two children before going public with her relationship with Brad. He adopted them both, including Maddox Jolie-Pitt who testified against him. The couple then adopted another child together and had three biological children.

On March 12th, the 45-year-old actress filed court documents accusing her movie star ex of domestic abuse. Jolie states that she, and children Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12 have the receipts to back up the allegations.

“Maddox has already given testimony as [an] adult in the ongoing custody dispute and it wasn’t very flattering toward Brad,” an insider told Us Weekly. “He doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie. Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn’t support.”

Soon after the split was announced in 2016, Pitt was cleared of child abuse allegations by Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.

Now, Jolie is opening that file back up with some assistance from the children.

Pitt Insider Believes Angelina’s Custody Case Is For Retribution

“The case remained open (after Pitt was cleared in 2016) out of an abundance of caution because the department took the matter seriously, and in the almost two years of monitored visitation, there was not one instance that caused any alarm bells to go off,” an insider reported.

The source, who is close to Pitt, believes Jolie’s new case is one of retribution.

“Over the past four-and-a-half years, there have been a number of claims made by Angelina that have been reviewed and not substantiated. The children have been used by Angelina to hurt Brad before and this is more of that behavior. This leaking of documents by her fourth or fifth set of lawyers has been done to hurt Brad,” the source continued.

Maddox Jolie-Pitt Testifies Against Brad Pitt

Maddox is an adult now. He is estranged from his father at his own choosing. As an adult, he was able to decide to testify without parental approval.

It was alleged that in 2016, Pitt was physical with Maddox. 

Jolie has previously stated that she would like to move the children abroad. This is something that Pitt objects to as it would interfere with custody.

In September 2019, Maddox spoke with a paparazzo at Yonsei University, in Incheon, South Korea where he attends college.
