Hours before this week’s People’s Choice Awards, Bieber shared a special message on Instagram along with a video.
26-year-old Bieber has been open about his struggles with fear and anxiety in the past, crediting God with getting him through.
So this wasn’t the first time the “Baby” singer gave it all up to God.
But his post is both personal and poignant as he prepared to take the big stage while spreading hope to the world amidst this devastating pandemic.
The pop superstar encouraged his millions of fans around the globe to let go because God is in control.
“All my life i felt in my heart i was supposed to entertain. I had been given these abilities that i wanted to showcase. My heart as i get older is to ask god to refine my heart,” Bieber wrote on Instagram.
“To make sure my intention remains pure. My intention is to inspire, uplift, empower and lead people to know and see the love of God. To remind people of the joy and wonder that is all around us.”
He finished the post on a personal yet powerful note.
“Fear of rejection can scare us away from our full potential,” he continued. “But asking God to use us even when we’re scared takes the pressure off of us and reminds us that he is in control.”

“Lonely” And “Holy” Show His Love For Jesus Christ
Later that night, the singer did exactly that. He showcased his talents in a way that brought forth the love of Jesus Christ.
The Christian pop star sang “Lonely” and “Holy.” During “Holy” illuminated crosses led his way across the People’s Choice Awards stage.
Fans did take notice of the powerful performance.
