UFC Vegas 8 Poster Features Smith, Rakic, Lawler & Magny

The UFC’s busy August will continue on into next weekend, and as a result, the official poster for UFC Vegas 8 has been shared out.

Anthony Smith vs. Aleksandar Rakic

In the card’s main event, Anthony Smith will battle fellow light heavyweight contender, Aleksandar Rakic.

Smith (33-15) is looking to get back on track, as he’s coming off a stoppage loss to Glover Teixeira in May. Prior to that, the former title challenger submitted Alexander Gustafsson last June.

Rakic (12-2), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since December when he lost via split decision to Volkan Oezdemir. Rakic had won 12 straight before taking that loss.

UFC Vegas 8 will also feature the return of former welterweight champ Robbie Lawler (28-14), who will battle longtime contender, Neil Magny (23-7)
