UFC On ESPN Results: Alistair Overeem Tops Emotional Walt Harris

Welcome to our live coverage of Saturday night’s UFC on ESPN: Overeen vs. Harris event from Jacksonville, Florida and the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

The arena has become the home-away-from-home for the UFC this past week, hosting three events in eight days.

In the main event will be a heavyweight battle between former title contender Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris.

Overeem is coming off a fifth round knockout loss to Jairzinho Rozenstruik, but had won four of six prior to that highlighted by a majority decision win over former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum.

For Harris, this is his first fight since losing his step-daughter last year. The situation scrapped plans for a bout with Overeem, but now, he is re-focused on the task at hand.

He is also unbeaten over his last four, including finishes of Aleksei Oleinik, Sergey Spivak and Daniel Spitz.

The main card, which airs live on ESPN, also includes Claudia Gadelha meeting Angela Hill, Dan Ige welcoming Edson Barboza to the featherweight division, Eryk Anders facing Krzysztof Jotko and Song Yadong battling Marlon Vera.

The prelims, which kickoff at 6 p.m. ET on both ESPN and ESPN+, feature Matt Brown vs. Miguel Baeza, Anthony Hernandez vs. Kevin Holland, Irwin Rivera vs. Giga Chikadze, Cortney Casey vs. Mara Romero Borella, Darren Elkins vs. Nate Landwehr and Rodrigo Nascimento vs. Don’Tale Mayes.

Rivera replaces Mike Davis in the featherweight bout.

Check out results below and live fight-by-fight coverage to follow.
