NFL’s Demario Davis Is the Anti-Kaepernick With This Compelling Message For America
Demario Davis of the New Orleans Saints looks to the Bible for strength and offers hope to Americans as we face daily struggles caused by the pandemic.
New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis, known for his Christian faith, offers a message of hope as we deal with the coronavirus pandemic. Davis is a proud “Man of God” who chooses to use his platform as an NFL player to spread the Word of Jesus Christ.
Davis Fined For ‘Man Of God’ Headband
He made waves last year after the NFL fined him for wearing a “Man of God” headband during a game.
Davis said he was conflicted when he first got the fine:
“Should I continue to wear it because of the messaging or would I follow the rule? Which would bring ultimate glory to God,”
However, the linebacker didn’t back down. He appealed the fine and won.
Better yet, he used the notoriety to sell the “Man of God” and “Woman of God” headbands pledging the proceeds to St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Miss. At that time, he raised $60,000. And, with a matching grant that the hospital has for every dollar that’s raised, the hospital got $120,000.

Make sure to get your headbands before the year is over to keep supporting them! Bible Reading During Coronavirus Pandemic
Demario Davis recently was featured on Fox Nation’s “Bible Study: Messages of Hope,” delivering a message of perseverance and faith during these tumultuous times.
He focused on Romans 8:28:
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
From Fox News:
“Life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you respond to it,” said Davis. “This is totally unexpected and a time like no other… frankly, everybody is ready for it to be over, we can just be hopeful and know that we’re going make it to the other side.”
“The Bible tells us in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good for those called according to his purpose,” he continued. “It doesn’t say that all things will be good, but all things work together for good.”
“We don’t know what good will come out on the other side. But we know that all things work together for good… This situation shows us how very much not in control we are, but God is always in control and he has a plan.”
Davis’ Message Of Hope
The video of Demario Davis’ message of hope can be seen in the video below.
Davis also spoke with Fox Nation’s Raymond Arroyo. They two discussed the NFL player’s open display of faith and how he prays for other athletes. This man is a proud Christian who lives what he believes. That interview is below.
Davis also offers sage advice about being grateful since we’ve all had to slow down so much with the pandemic. He encourages Americans to make the most of the times we are living in now.
“While things are going slow, just look around you and see there’s so much that you can be grateful for. Having a roof over your head. Having food to eat. Having loved ones around you. This has slowed us down a lot and don’t take that for granted.”
