With Brian Cage’s Impact Wrestling contract up, there are conflicting reports where he will head next. Also, Triple H on a rumored match with The Rock.
Brian Cage – WWE Update
Right after Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill pay per view, we learned that Brian Cage’s contract was up. At the time, there were reports that he signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Now, Cage is no denying those rumors and mentioned how he is having surgery this Monday on his bicep. The injury caused his match with RVD to be cut short.
For Cage, he has hit some roadblocks the past 12 months. He was a big star in Impact Wrestling and even won their World Championship. Unfortunately, his back was badly hurt in the match where he claimed the title.
Personally I think Brain Cage should sign with WWE.
When his Impact wrestling contract expires.
The money aside.
He’ll finally get respected for the incredible athlete that he is.
But knowing him?
He probably sign with AEW.
All well.

While Cage heals, he did mentioned that he is fielding offers from several companies; But, that could take six months.
Triple H On Rumored Match With The Rock
The Rock and Triple H have battled so many times, but fans still want to see them go at it once more. WWE teased a match several years ago with a promo between the two, but the match never worked out.
While Triple H does not remember all the details, he recalled trying to put the match together.
“I don’t remember the details of it, but it was one of those things that Rock and I talked about to the point where we did the backstage promo,” said Triple H to Alex McCarthy. “‘Let’s throw a scene out there and see what happens.’ It blew up, so we talked about it some more.”
Then scheduling just got in the way. “At that point, we were over a year away from that WrestleMania. It wasn’t until, maybe four months of the following year, we got to that, and Rock goes, ‘it’s just not gonna work. I just can’t. All of my stuff. My movies and everything has changed. I just can’t make it work anymore.’”
The Rock and Triple H can still wrestle, so do not close the book on a potential meeting. The biggest holdup is easily The Rock’s busy Hollywood schedule.
“It was what it was. I would’ve loved to have [done] it. It would’ve been a blast to step in there with him one more time and tear it up.”
