The 31-year-old Sullivan was trained at the WWE Performance Center by Bobby Lashley. But, he made his debut in April of this past year, attacking Kurt Angle before continuing with attacks on the likes of R-Truth and The Hardy Boyz.
Then during the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up, Sullivan was drafted to SmackDown. However, he rarely appeared.
Later, Sullivan was fined $100,000 for comments made on a message board before he joined the WWE, and also saw a knee injury force him to the sidelines in the first place.
