Prince Andrew’s BBC Epstein Interview Is a “Train Wreck” For Royal Family

The Royal Family is in public relations crisis mode today following Prince Andrew’s BBC interview with Emily Maitlis about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Describing the interview as a “train wreck” is a generous a description as some Americans are now calling for the Prince to be interviewed by the FBI regarding the Epstein case and his suspicious “suicide”.

Andrew has been accused of pedophilia by one of the underage girls that Epstein enslaved in his trafficking ring. Virginia Roberts claims she was forced to have sex with the royal three times while she was still a minor.

In the interview, Prince Andrew, Duke of York and second son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, claimed he never even met Virginia Roberts on the night in question. Even though there is a picture of the smiling prince with his hand around the then teen’s waist.

Remarkably, the Prince claims that he couldn’t have been with Virginia Roberts that night because he remembers that specific day he took his daughter out to Pizza Express. He also states that he wouldn’t be dressed so casually in London so he doubts its authenticity.

In Roberts statement, she said that Prince Andrew sweat while they were dancing.

Well, the Duke of York claims that is impossible. Why? The Prince claims he had a medical condition from his time serving in the Falkland Islands and that an “overdose of adrenaline” caused him not to be able to sweat.

He also stated that as a royal, he doesn’t make public displays of affection. But, there is plenty of pictorial evidence that questions the legitimacy of these answers.

After all, Andrew’s nickname is “Randy Andy” because of his public exploits. But, truly, these images speak for themselves.

Prince Andrew admitted to seeing Epstein even after his pedophilia conviction in the interview. His excuse for that has been leaving many to shake their heads. The royal says he went to Epstein’s home to “break up the friendship”.

The prince told Maitlis he broke up with the pedophile and then stayed at Epstein’s home for several days out of convenience and because of Andrew’s own “tendency to be too honorable”. It doesn’t make sense to a logical person that Prince Andrew would stay with the pedophile for days after ending their friendship.

Andrew regrets his relationship with Epstein not because he is appalled at Epstein’s crimes, but rather of how it has reflected on the Royal Family. He also describes Epstein’s crimes as a sex offender as “unbecoming”.

“I kick myself for on a daily basis because it was not something that was becoming of a member of the Royal Family and we try and uphold the highest standards and practices and I let the side down, simple as that,” Prince Andrew said.

What he’s not saying speaks volumes.

I’m not sure who approved Prince Andrew’s BBC interview but his appearance certainly added fuel to the already raging fire.

Buckingham Palace is likely to be forced to distance itself from Prince Andrew’s dumpster fire of an interview.

It’s challenging to understand why he thought this was a good idea.

Prince Andrew And Epstein’s Girlfriend

How did a Prince and a convicted pedophile become friends in the first place?

Prince Andrew says in the interview that his friendship with Epstein started through the dead pedophile’s girlfriend. She was a friend of Prince Andrew’s for several decades.

Proving that he is completely clueless, the prince admitted that he spoke with Ghislaine Maxwell as recently as this summer.

Some recommend that Prince Charles downgrade the Duke of York from being a working member of the Royal Family.

Prince Andrew’s BBC interview might just be the final straw for his public responsibilities representing the family.
