Jordan Myles Has Been Officially Released From The WWE

Jordan Myles has been one of the most discussed names in the wrestling world lately. The wrestler allegedly went rogue after the release of a T-shirt, which he claimed was racist. Now, the WWE have confirmed they officially released Myles from his contract.

Jordan Myles’ WWE Release Granted With Little Detail

The release of Jordan Myles aka ACH was first reported by Ryan Satin from Pro Wrestling Sheet. As Satin is also a member of WWE Backstage, the source is extremely reliable.

It is no surprise that the release of ACH is currently accompanied by very little information. After all, the controversy he has caused over the weeks has put the WWE in a bad light. So, his release is not going to be advertised by the company. The WWE probably wants this news to pass as quietly as possible.

The Rarity of a Successful Release

In the WWE, releases are not granted very easily. Remember just how many wrestlers have requested their release online over the past couple of months. Sin Cara, Mike Kanellis, and Luke Harper are just a few wrestlers who wanted to be released from the company. However, their release has not been granted.

As mentioned in some of our previous articles, the WWE wants to avoid some of their former wrestlers migrating to other brands, most specifically All Elite Wrestling. The company already lost some major wrestlers to the brand, including Dean Ambrose, Tye Dillinger and Neville.

Despite the company’s reluctance to release wrestlers, the release of Jordan Myles does not exactly come as a surprise. Many reporters described the wrestler as having “gone rogue,” something the WWE cannot have at any cost.

To minimise the news of his departure, I have no doubt that the company has kept him out of matches over the past three months. However, this does not mean he wasn’t heard. From explicit videos to live Q&A’s with fans, Myles did his best not to be silenced.

What’s Next For ACH?

He already mentioned he did not want to be known as Jordan Myles anymore but as ACH. He also mentioned he would prefer to return to New Japan. Whether or not this will happen remains to be seen. Being a former WWE wrestler does not guarantee you will get a spot on the indies. Neville, Dean Ambrose and Tye Dillinger were quite different, as they were quite established already.

I have no doubt that we will be kept informed about the next steps for ACH. He has been quite vocal about his journey on social media, so he probably will post his next wrestling promoter on social media, too.

The best route for Jordan Myles at the moment is certainly the indies. However, the chances of him working for the WWE again are astronomically small, especially after his explicit rant on social media. Alberto Del Rio did something similar, and despite his history with the company, he has never been near World Wrestling Entertainment since. It will be interesting to see what happens to ACH in the nearby future.
