The controversial Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia is taking place again this year, and not all wrestlers are happy about working the event. However, Mustafa Ali is trying to turn the negative event into a positive.
Mustafa Ali Donates His Earnings to a Charity
One of the most likeable WWE superstars is undoubtedly Mustafa Ali, who is known for his charity work. To turn Crown Jewel into a more positive event, Ali decided to donate his earnings to Charity: Water.
Charity: Water is a non-profit organization that raises money to build sustainable water projects for people in areas and communities who do not have access to clean water. The charity is currently active in 27 countries, mainly situated in Africa, Asia, Central America, and South America. Ali announced his plans with the following tweet:
To clarify some reports, my earnings from the 10/31 event will be donated to @charitywater.

I was not going to watch Crown Jewel for my own reasons, but now I will at least watch Ali’s match.
Fan Responses to Ali’s Generosity
Fans are quite excited about the fact this WWE wrestler is donating his earnings to charity. Here are some of the best fan responses on social media.
Thank you. I understand not everybody has a choice in where they work, and working in a controversial venue has to be tough. I applaud your continued efforts to do good for others. It's people like you we need more of in this world. ❤

Just wow! Incredible gesture! Got me smiling on a Sunday morning. I'm hoping some of your peers at least follow suit and give a percentage (even as small as 5-10%) to charity as well. If more stories like this come out, it will surely clean up some of the "questionableness".

Team Flair Versus Team Hogan at Crown Jewel
Since Seth Rollins has been pulled from Team Hogan, the teams for Crown Jewel have received a bit of a shuffle. Team Hogan now consists of Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ricochet, Chad Gable, and Ali. Team Flair consists of Randy Orton, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Shinsuke Nakamura. The final member of Team Flair is still open.
Team Hogan versus Team Flair is set to be an amazing match due to the sheer superstar power each team contains. It also provides opportunities for two of the newer members of the roster, Ali and Ricochet.
Some fans are calling for Ali and Ricochet to form a tag team mainly due to their similar high-risk style. Still, both wrestlers have a big future in the singles division. Hopefully, they will get better opportunities under the regime of Paul Heyman and Bruce Prichard.
The Nicest Guy in the WWE
Ali is gaining popularity, not solely for his wrestling skill, but also for his sheer kindness. Here are some of the most notable kind actions from Ali in the past year.
In October, Mustafa Ali heard about a fan who wanted to dress up like him for Halloween. Unfortunately, the young fan could not find a costume like that. So, Ali sent him a care package.
Little man wanted to dress up like me for Halloween. Parents couldn’t find an Ali costume, so I had to send him one. Enjoy the gift, Noah! https://t.co/uD1y8d3Rn0

Even Ali’s attire is made to send a message to fans and the world. His character is all about bringing the light. Finding his light in the dark is more than just a gimmick. It is amazing!

Adeel Amal (Ali) was also involved in WWE’s anti-bullying charity work. Working with slogan “Don’t be a bully, #BeAStar”, the company sends out some of its superstars to talk to children about bullying. Adeel participated in this year’s anti-bullying campaign alongside Mandy Rose, Tamina, and Kalisto.
Got to visit @BGCMLA today. Always a pleasure to sit, talk and listen to these amazing kids. #BeAStar pic.twitter.com/rS9EZZSw6k

Ali is also extremely involved in changing people’s perception about Muslims. Earlier in the month, he and his wife posted a lovely message. It was quite original too, as they incorporated misunderstood wolves in their message, too.
