Roseanne

Roseanne Barr just announced her stand-up comeback in a blistering new interview in which she bashed various Hollywood liberals, including her former “Roseanne” costar Sara Gilbert.

Roseanne Prepares Her Comeback

Barr, 66, sat down with Daily Mail to discuss her the backlash she received and how excited she is to get back into stand up comedy. She’ll be teaming up with her friend and fellow comic Andrew Dice Clay for their Mr. and Mrs. America Tour which kicks off on September 19. Barr told reporter Jesse Palmer that she is nervous to put herself back in the public eye one year after she was viciously shunned for posting a tweet about Barack Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett that many felt was racist.

“I was really nervous … you know, really nervous,” Barr said. “Dice talked me into it. He goes, people are wanting to hear what you have to say. I said, I’ll do a couple, we’ll see how it goes.”

Though Barr admits she is nervous, she is also very excited.

“I love stand-up comedy and it’s just a blast to be able to go do it and have backup in the form of another great comic,” she said.

Roseanne Blames Gilbert For Cancellaton Of Her Show

In the interview, Barr claimed that while her infamous tweet set the ball in motion, it was actually Gilbert’s response to it that ultimately caused ABC to cancel “Roseanne.”

“That’s the tweet that got the show canceled to be honest,” Barr said of Gilbert’s response tweet. She added that she is not in contact with any of her costars, and she has no interest in either confronting Gilbert or trying to smooth things over with her.

“When somebody just doesn’t care how their actions affect you, what’s there to talk about?” Barr said of her relationship with Gilbert. “There’s nothing to talk about.”

Barr added that she does not watch “The Conners” and even slammed ABC for using her tweet “as an excuse to steal [her] life’s work.”

“When it happened it was like I thought I was gonna lose my life,” Barr recalled. “It was devastating and horrible and is unprecedented too that they would do that to me.”

Barr Believes Her Support For Trump Did Her In At ABC

To this day, Barr believes that ABC just used the scandal as an excuse to get rid of her.

“It was a perfect storm,” Barr said. “That’s what I think, just the perfect storm at the perfect time. Kind of a little bit too perfect. Sometimes I think ‘was this orchestrated? The whole thing?'”

In the end, Barr thinks that it’s her love for President Donald Trump that did her in at ABC.

“All of Hollywood, they just hate him and they hate those of us who like him. There is no way around it,” she said. “So, yeah, I think they took me off because I liked him and I like him because I’m a Jew and he likes Israel.”

At this point, Barr has been punished more than enough for her one offensive tweet. It’s time for the liberals of Hollywood to forgive her and allow her to continue her career in peace. We wish her the best of luck with her new comedy tour!
