Country Singer Kylie Rae Harris Tweeted This Prayer Right Before She Was Killed In A Car Accident

Country singer and songwriter Kylie Rae Harris lost her life on Wednesday in a three car accident. Harris was venturing to Taos, New Mexico which was a very symbolic place for her, at the time. Profoundly, on Wednesday before the crash, she shared a prayer on Twitter.

The country artist was scheduled to perform at the Big Barn Music Festival on Thursday. She was very connected to Taos. She shared on Instagram stories that it was a very special place for her and her family as she had many childhood memories there. It’s is also where a number of her family members died, including her own father.  She clearly had no idea what was to happen next, but her social network posts are incredibly jarring, almost predicting her own sudden demise. Her final Instagram story was at 8pm, one hour before her death. RELATED: Dog Divulges The Only Thing That Kept He And Beth Apart In 30 Years

Kaylie Rae Harris Died Where Her Father Died

“I spent the last 20 years of my life coming to Taos with my dad, my sisters, my grandparents lived here, my uncle still lives here,” Harris said in on her Instagram story videos. “Literally, everybody that was here has passed away, except for my uncle, including my dad.”

When Harris prayed on Twitter, she would only be alive for five more hours. She shared with her followers that she was concerned that she would run out of gas. She asked Jesus for help.

“Fuel range is 46 miles and I’m 36 from the nearest gas station,” the singer tweeted her prayer. “Dear baby Jesus please don’t let me get stranded in N.M.”

Jesus didn’t leave her stranded. Instead, he answered her prayer and brought Harris home to Him.

Alcohol Was A Factor In Crash That Killed Kylie Rae Harris

In addition to Harris, a 16-year-old driver of one of the other cars was killed. Police have stated that alcohol was a factor in the three car accident. The driver of the third car was not harmed. RELATED: Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Family Involved in Private Plane Crash

Kylie leaves behind her six-year-old daughter. Her song “Twenty Years From Now” was dedicated to her little girl. It was about seeing her daughter grow up, something she will not get to experience. Kylie’s comments to Billboard about the song are a real kick in the gut. We never know when God will call us home.

“It scared me thinking that it was totally possible I could be gone before my daughter reaches that point,” she said. “I want to meet my kid’s kids. Getting to the age your parents were when you were a child brings a whole lot of perspective.”

A video of Harris singing “Twenty Years From Now” is below. What a beautiful gift to leave behind for her daughter.
