Seth Rollins CM Punk

Even though Seth Rollins is one of the most beloved wrestlers on the roster, the WWE could turn Seth Rollins into another Roman Reigns. In their efforts to make Seth the next big thing, they could be making the same mistakes.

The Seth Rollins Experiment

Seth Rollins WWE

The WWE is desperate to make Rollins look cool and likeable, even though he was already that to start with. Still, by trying to make Seth Rollins into their new poster child, the WWE could be ruining his popularity. After all, one superstars being pushed on fans has never worked. Just look at Roman Reigns and John Cena.

Still, there is a difference between Reigns and Rollins. Reigns’ reputation is pretty much immaculate, while Rollins has been subject to some public scrutiny. An online feud with Will Ospreay, cheating on his former fiancé, and calling fans jealous are just some of the things that happened over the years.

On the other hand, Rollins has enjoyed more popularity among the male WWE fan base compared to Roman Reigns. While he is a little less popular among female fans, he has a good allround appeal.

Despite his popularity, the WWE’s plans with Seth Rollins have been weird to say the least. If they want to make him the face of the company, maybe they should let Rollins do his own thing?

CM Punk Talks About AEW

With the “war” between AEW and WWE raging on, CM Punk has quite the interesting viewpoint about the feud.

“It doesn’t have to be like that. I’m here to tell you, we need to realize that it’s all there for us and we should enjoy all of it. Just enjoy the wrestling. Whether its WWE or AEW or NXT, you guys don’t have to choose, you can watch it all.” – CM Punk

Other WWE veterans and superstars have responded to the war as well, especially since it was revealed that Arn Anderson turned up at AEW wrestling.

Triple H, took the opportunity to praise his father-in-law and CEO Vince McMahon.

“And the truth is that it’s just funny, the small-mindedness of it, that people don’t give Vince credit for being the businessman that he is. So, when people talk about him as a businessman, there’s just so many crazy misconceptions. The truth is, all of what we’re doing right now, this business, is because of him.”  – Triple H

Despite his busy schedule, The Rock allegedly watched AEW “All Out”. He also had a response to Arn Anderson’s sudden appearance at AEW. Remember, Arn Anderson was supposedly fired from the WWE after letting Alicia Fox wrestle intoxicated. While this was not officially confirmed, many fans have adopted this as fact. Nevertheless, it seems like Arn Anderson has found a new home at AEW.

I have to agree with CM Punk. While the war is giving me more work as a wrestling reporter, it is an exciting time for wrestling fans. The WWE is no longer the only destination for talent, and that is a good thing!
