Chris Benoit’s Son, David Benoit, Wants To Sign With AEW
Chris Benoit will be remembered for two things in this world. First, for being one of the best to ever step inside the ring and that weekend where he killed his wife, young child and then himself. He was a surefire WWE Hall of Famer and now that is gone as the promotion has done everything in their power to erase his memory.
Chris did have another son, David Benoit, who has been spotted backstage for various wrestling companies such as WWE and All Elite Wrestling (AEW). David spoke with The Pro And Bro Wrestling podcast and had nothing but positive words for AEW, including showing lots of interest in signing with them.
“I love AEW,” said David Benoit. “That’s a good time, good, quality product [and] some good wrestling. I went to their first show, Double or Nothing. […] AEW I want to go to 100 percent. I love AEW [and] I love what they do for the boys; take care of them.”
There is no telling how the fans would treat David, considering their dad was such a great athlete but he will always be remembered for the final actions of his life. The kid does deserve a chance as he should not be penalized for the actions of his father.
