CM Punk's WWE Backstage Return

– CM Punk left WWE at the height of his wrestling career and later stated that he was done with that business. While plenty of companies have sent feelers his way, Punk has declined all offers; outside of doing a few rumored run-ins under a mask.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, they stated how Punk has been distancing himself from even his friends in WWE. There is a chance that Punk appears at All Elite Wrestling’s All Out event later this month or during their first TV episode on TNT in October. If that is the case, everyone is keeping a tight lip.

After leaving WWE, Punk would eventually fight twice in the UFC. He was submitted in the opening round in his debut and later picked apart for three rounds. He seems done with the UFC and has started working the commentary table for some smaller MMA promotions. We do know that Punk will make a rare public appearance as part of Starcast III.

Some reports also mentioned that WWE is under the impression that Punk will never return and they are moving forward. Since abruptly walking out of WWE, the company has not made many mentions of someone who held their WWE Championship for over a year.

– Rachael Evers suffered an injury last weekend during an NXT live event from Fort Pierce, Florida. As seen below, she will be undergoing surgery this Tuesday to repair a torn ACL.

The 26 year old is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering and started her career by training with Lance Strorm. Before officially signing with WWE, she worked both Mae Young Classics; where she was eliminated early in the tournaments.

She officially signed an NXT contract in January of this year and has mostly worked live events. No word on how long she will miss action.
