Rafael Lovato Jr. went all the way to London to become the new Bellator middleweight champion.
After five grueling rounds, Lovato was proclaimed the winner via majority decision over Gegard Mousasi at Bellator London. The card aired as part of the Bellator 223 event, streaming on DAZN and airing on Paramount Network.
The win kept Lovato’s perfect record intact, as he is now 10-0 overall. The last six of his victories have come with Bellator.
In the main event of Bellator 223, Paul Daley picked up a decision over Erick Silva. That card also featured a decision win for James Gallagher, as he downed Jeremiah Labiano.
