Tim Allen’s sitcom “Last Man Standing” is known for being one of the few shows on television that revolves around a conservative character. Now, after the show was renewed for an eighth season, Allen reaveals that he loves pushing the buttons of liberal snowflakes.

“I like it that we can make statements and poke fun at very brittle liberals,” Allen said, according to Country Living. “In [Hollywood] there is nothing more annoying than a well-educated character who is conservative.”

“They don’t like it,” he added of liberals. “The more they don’t like it, the more you push that button.”

Fans were stunned a few years ago when ABC canceled “Last Man Standing” despite the show’s high ratings, causing many to believe that it was only canceled because of its conservative theme. Thankfully, Fox brought the show back to air, and it has been a huge success ever since.

“It was a year and a half afterward, and everyone had moved on,” Allen said. “I had taken part of the set and put it in my production office. But I didn’t feel that it was done; ABC had pulled it after our best season. Then a Fox executive called and said, ‘What do you think about putting it on Fox? [And she] said, ‘I’m in if you’re in.'”

He went on to say that “getting back on the air [was] a monumental, magical, curious and scary moment.”

Conservatives are grossly underestimated in television, as virtually all major networks are run by liberals who have no interest in humanizing Republicans. Democrats have long claimed to be the “open-minded” political party, but the days of leftists being open to views that differ from their own are long gone. Instead, liberals are currently on a mission to silence any and all conservative voices, which is why what Allen is doing on his show is so important.

We hope that Allen continues to push the buttons of “triggered” liberals however he can for many years to come. We need more proud conservatives like him in Hollywood!
