WWE Planning Big Post-WM Feud For The Man

Mere days away from Wrestlemania 35 and a historic first-ever women’s bout closing the show, and “The Man” Becky Lynch is riding a high wave. Sure, she may be the only competitor in the match that isn’t donning a title, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a good chance she’ll walk away with both the Monday Night RAW and SmackDown LIVE women’s champion strapped to her shoulders after battling Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, when all is said and done.

All that aside, while there have been rumblings around a potential Stephanie McMahon versus Becky Lynch for SummerSlam, some months way taking place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, according to Ringside News, this high-level program is still on the WWE’s radar, and something officials really want to see unfold.

Could the Billion Dollar Princess interfere in this Sunday’s Wrestlemania main event, causing Becky Lynch to lose, and launching a SummerSlam program between the two all in one shot? Only time will tell!

– According to the Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, Kurt Angle’s past injuries and body has been hurting a bit leading up to Wrestlemania during his Farewell Tour, as the WWE Hall of Famer has been working a weekly schedule. This would explain his shortened match with AJ Styles during the March 26th edition of SD LIVE, and why Rey Mysterio was inserted into a bout versus Baron Corbin during the RAW go-home show for WM 35.

Unfortunately, Mysterio suffered an ankle injury during this match, leaving his Wrestlemania bout against Samoa Joe for the United States Championship, in question. See Rey-Rey’s below Instagram post for more details:

Here’s hoping that Rey can heal up soon, and that the injury is as minor as it looks. The program Mysterio had with Joe involved his son Dominick at ringside, which was a cool angle considering his involvement in WWE storylines in the past as a child, and how long its been since fans have seen him on television.
