Ronda Rousey’s WWE Future Unclear

– Ronda Rousey and hubby Travis Browne recently posted a YouTube video to their channel updating fans on her injury and future with the WWE. As many may know, she sustained an injury during her last match with the company, the main event of Wrestlemania 35, where Rousey faced Charlotte Flair and “The Man” Becky Lynch. Ronda relayed that she injured her right pinky and had surgery on it where two pins were placed into her hand, thus, she’ll need to have a cast on it for about four weeks.

She also noted that once her pinky is healed, she and hubby Travis will be embarking on a trip around the world. For anyone that follows Rousey, she and Browne having be using the hashtag #impregnationvacation on social media, so it seems they have a goal to start a family during this globe trot; and may not stop until “mission is accomplished”.

While Rousey signed a multi-year deal with the WWE, the video also relayed that she had only planned to stay with the company until November of last year, and then the idea was to take a break to try and have a baby. Having said that, plans changed when it seemed there was a huge possibility that a women’s match could headline the Grandest Stage of Them All, for the first time ever.

Ronda relayed in the video that she is uncertain about her future with the WWE. She wants to start a family and have a baby first, and while there is a possibility that she may return after that has occurred, there’s also a possibility she may not want to return, thanks to motherhood.

The Superstar Shake-Up shook up quite a lot of things, with many talents being drafted between Monday Night RAW and SmackDown LIVE creating a very new landscape on both brands. Having said that, the WWE quietly moved Aleister Black, Andrade, and Zelina Vega back to Team Blue this week.

What was the reasoning behind this?

According to PW Insider, as SD LIVE is set to move to Fox this October on Friday nights, the network reportedly felt that the roster lacked huge Latino names, post-draft, as Rey Mysterio is now on RAW too. It is also being reported that the network wants to spotlight Latino superstars from the WWE for their Spanish-language channel, when SD LIVE moves to Fox this fall.

Therefore, Andrade needed to move, and so did Vega, which means Black had to make the move too, as WWE tries to keep married couples together on the same roster.
