No matter how you slice it, this Matt Hughes situation is ugly.
His wife and brother both have restraining orders against him, citing incidents of violence. Which, if true… sheesh.
But the legendary former champ is certainly still recovering from a traumatic brain injury, which of course doesn’t excuse any of his actions (if true), but does explain where they may be coming from.
Anyway, Hughes posted a statement on Instagram somewhat explaining his sad. And yup, it’s still an ugly situation.
