CNN’s Jim Acosta Humiliated After Unintentionally Proving Border Walls Work

CNN reporter Jim Acosta is obsessed with trying to make President Donald Trump look bad, and this week, he headed to the border to do just that. Unfortunately for Acosta, however, his latest attempt at humiliating Trump just backfired on him in a big way.

Fox News reported that Acosta posted a video to social media on Thursday that inadvertently proved that Trump is right that border barriers stop illegal aliens from crossing into the United States.

“Here are some of the steel slats that the president’s been talking about,” Acosta said as he stood in front of a barrier on the border. “But as we’re walking along here, we’re not seeing any kind of imminent danger.”

“There are no migrants trying to rush toward this fence,” the reporter continued, going on to say that there was “no sign of the national emergency that the president has been talking about” and it was “tranquil” near him.

Acosta did not seem to realize that he was actually proving that Trump is right in that border walls are effective in preventing illegal immigration. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders took to Twitter hours later to thank Acosta for proving that “walls work.”

Other Twitter users also piled on Acosta and let him know what an enormous fail this was.

It’s funny that even when the mainstream media is doing everything they can to try and take Trump down, they cannot help but accidentally prove that his ideas are extremely effective. Bravo to Jim Acosta for showing the world just how important border walls really are!
