Vince McMahon Responsible for Fourth Worst Raw Episode of the Modern Era

It's rumored that Vince McMahon wrote the majority of last week's Raw episode that proved to be one of the worst in the modern era.

Last week’s episode of Raw proved to be one of the worst in the modern era. Everyone wondered what went wrong and who was responsible for the abomination. Turns out, the responsible party was none other than Vince McMahon.

Vince Wrote and Oversaw Raw

According to Rajah, Vince McMahon was in most part responsible for the horrible episode of Monday Night Raw last week. It is claimed Vince wrote the majority of the episode and also oversaw the entire episode backstage.

As you may know already, last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw drew the fourth worst viewer rating of the modern era. It also drew the ire of fans, who have been criticizing Raw more than ever.

While almost nobody sees a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel where Monday Night Raw is concerned, things could change if Vince makes the smart decision to install Matt Hardy as the new general manager of Monday Night Raw. If there is anyone who has good creative ideas that are well-received by fans, it is Matt Hardy. Unfortunately, the chances Matt Hardy will become the general manager are rather small.

What Happens to Raw Now?

Monday Night Raw

The sad reality about Raw is that it does have the talent to put on amazing shows. Yet, the storylines and the bookings are so below par, fans are losing interest very quickly.

While the talent is there, we are entering the so-called “dead months of wrestling” now. From December to just before Wrestlemania, wrestling has been historically boring. It is likely we will get some filler matches and rivalries of no consequence over the next couple of months. Until the road to WrestleMania begins, it is likely things will stay as boring as they are now.

As I mentioned before, one of the biggest problems of Monday Night Raw is the fact that the main title is not being fought for. It is currently around the waist of Brock Lesnar, and a lot of potential champions are put in the background in order to keep the belt around his waist. Even Braun Strowman keeps getting missed opportunities, despite the fact he is one of the most popular wrestlers at the moment. You also have Drew McIntyre, who has become one of the main people to watch on Monday Night Raw. Despite his talent, the WWE is forcing him into a side-kick role and are continuing a rivalry between Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler. It does not make much sense to me.

Even if WWE management is planning the ultimate swerve that will lead to one of the best Raw episodes in history, you need to have some people left to watch it. As it stands now, the WWE will start leaking fans unlike never before. I just hope they change things for the better before it is too late.
