Prince Harry Skips Major Royal Christmas Tradition to Appease Meghan

Meghan Markle is preparing for her first Christmas as an official member of the British royal family. Seven months after she married Prince Harry, new reports indicate that Meghan has already managed to convince him to bow out of a royal Christmas tradition that she finds offensive: hunting.

Daily Mail reported that for the first time in over twenty years, Harry will not be joining his family in participating in the traditional Boxing Day pheasant shoot at Sandringham so as not to upset Meghan, who is an animal lover.

Meghan is something of an animal activist, as she abhors hunting sports and refuses to wear fur. Just one of the former Hollywood actress’ many liberal qualities.

She Comes Between Harry And William … Again

Harry has taken part in this tradition for decades with his brother Prince William, who is reportedly concerned about just how much Meghan is impacting his younger brother’s life.

Sources have said that tension has been growing between William and Harry over Meghan’s behavior in the past few months, and this latest development has only made things worse.

“William sees this as another concerning example of his brother being pulled away from his family by his new wife,” a royal source said.

“Harry’s always loved hunting and it has provided them with a great chance to bond as brothers. But now it looks like Harry’s shooting days are over. It’s the latest point of contention between the Princes.”

Meghan Markle Furious That Prince Harry Went Hunting

Meghan was reportedly furious when Harry took part in a wild boar hunt in Germany last year, and he has refused to hunt ever since, despite the fact that it was one of his favorite pastimes.

Sources close to Harry say that he has changed tremendously since meeting Meghan and that he has also become more distant from the tight-knit group of friends who he grew up with.

Anyone who has ever been married knows that a successful marriage is about compromise, and sometimes we have to make changes to ourselves and give up things to appease our partner.

Harry has clearly decided that his relationship with Meghan is far more important than his love of hunting, and his friends and family should respect that.

However, Harry should also make sure to maintain some individuality in his marriage and not let Meghan pull him away from everything and everyone that he loves.
