Ezekiel Elliott national anthem

The Dallas Cowboys keep living up to their right to be called “America’s Team” as another star player has stated that he will stand for the National Anthem.

Running back Ezekiel Elliott made it quite clear that he supports owner Jerry Jones’ announcement that the entire Cowboys team will be respectfully standing during the National Anthem. This team will not be taking a knee while the “Star Spangled Banner” plays before each game.

“Us as a team, we chose to stand together for the national anthem,” Elliott told the Dallas Morning News. “It was our decision.”

It’s encouraging to hear this was a unified decision by the team to stand together. They have to live up to the fact that they are Dallas Cowboys.

“That’s not knocking anyone else who may choose to kneel during the national anthem,” Elliott stated. “But we’re the Dallas Football Cowboys, America’s Team. We stand for the national anthem.”

You can hear Elliott make this announcement in the video below.

Elliott’s statements have infuriated liberals who want everyone to take a knee. Their racist tendencies make them believe that Elliott has no right to make his own decision on this matter.

This comes on the heels of Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott stating that he will definitely be standing tall for the Anthem.

“I never protest during the anthem, and I don’t think that’s the time or the venue to do so,” Prescott said. “The game of football has always brought me such a peace, and I think it does the same for a lot of people — a lot of people playing the game, a lot of people watching the game, a lot of people that have any impact of the game. So when you bring such a controversy to the stadium, to the field, to the game, it takes away … from that. It takes away from the joy and the love that football brings a lot of people.”

Now, that’s two Cowboy standouts speaking out against Colin Kaepernick’s protests.
