Even though Roseanne Barr has apologized profusely and lost everything since she posted an offensive tweet about Barack Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett, Hollywood is still not ready to forgive her. This was sadly proven once again during the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Monday night, when liberal Hollywood stars took every opportunity they could to bash her.

AOL reported that actor Michael B. Jordan was handed the Best Villain award for his role in “Black Panther,” and he used his speech to take a jab at Barr.

“I am shocked that I won this award for Best Villain,” Jordan quipped. “I thought for sure Roseanne had that in the bag.”

Jordan wasn’t the only star who decided to kick Barr while she was down. When actresses Olivia Munn and Zazie Beetz took the stage to present the award for Best Hero, they also took shots at Barr.

“We also want to give a shout-out to our real heroes,” Munn said before the pair called out teachers, activists, fireman and first responders as some examples of real-life heroes, before adding — in an unaired moment — “and to that guy who fired Roseanne. That was nice.”

Barr has been apologizing for weeks for her tweet, and rumors are swirling that she is even trying to make amends by agreeing not to profit financially from a reboot of “Roseanne” just so her cast and crew can keep their jobs. She’s doing everything she can to make things right, yet the liberal elites of Hollywood are refusing to show her any mercy and allow her to move on with her life.

While we certainly do not support Barr’s tweet about Jarrett, we also believe in the power of forgiveness. All of us make mistakes in life and say things that we regret, and it’s sad that we now seem to live in a society where apologies are not accepted and forgiveness is not practiced.
