People eating at a Kansas Chick-fil-A got served some patriotism along with their chicken sandwiches. An employee of the fast food restaurant gave an impromptu performance of “God Bless The USA” that was so inspiring, it led to a viral video.

Dontarius Jamel Young is a team leader at the fast food giant. He decided to honor our veterans by singing a song that everyone was familiar with. He stood by the door of the restaurant so everyone could see and hear him.

Frances West was in the restaurant when Young performed this patriotic song. She grabbed her phone and recorded a video that quickly went viral. Not only is this a beloved American song, but Young has an amazing voice that did it justice.

“Wow! I am truly overwhelmed,” the singer wrote on his Facebook page. “I have always been very patriotic and have always loved to sing! The fact that God’s favor is being shown to me and in such an apparent way, literally leaves me speechless! 1,000,000 views! Thank you all so much! Im so excited to see what is in store and I am very grateful to have been blessed with so many beautiful and loving people in my life! It’s only up from here, I still believe!!!”

You can watch this inspiring performance in the video below.

Young’s performance racked up over 14 million views, proving that patriotism is still in demand!

This performance appropriately took place on Veterans Day because Young wanted to sing something special to honor our veterans. He also sang during his shift at Chick-Fil-A on Memorial Day and Independence Day.

It is so wonderful to see someone getting attention for all the right reasons. While so many people question the foundations of our country, Dontarius Jamel Young is publicly singing about how much he loves being an American!

Share this if you are proud to be an American too!
