A senior at the University of Tennessee started a trend that has sent liberal gun grabbers into a tizzy. Brenna Spencer tweeted a picture of herself at the Hunter Museum of American Art in Chattanooga with a pistol the waistband of her pants.

Spencer wore a Women For Trump shirt and she wrote in the tweet below, ” I don’t take normal college graduation photos…”

Spencer’s tweet quickly went viral and a lot of the comments were negative from the typical Trump haters. “I did think that it would get a little attention but not to this degree. It was really, really surprising to see the amount of hate that I got,” she said. “I try to stay off the comments, to be honest. I just know that I got a lot of hate.”

Many commenters said that Spencer broke guns laws. The picture was taken outside, so she was not subject to security from inside the museum. ABC News contacted the college senior and asked her if she broke the law. She told ABC, “I know the Tennessee state gun codes.”

ABC contacted the Chattanooga Police Department to comment on the viral picture. That sparked Alana Mastrangelo of Turning Point USA and the Washington Examiner to post her own picture in solidarity with Spencer.

Concealed carry activist Antonia Oakar joined in on the movement by posting a picture of her open carrying along with the Mastrangelo and Spencer’s pictures. People react to young women carrying guns and this tweet also got a lot of attention.

All three of these women’s tweets quickly spread, showing support for the Second Amendment. Women have the right to carry a gun and these women are proving this point with their pictures.
