Jimmy Kimmel Halloween candy

Every year, the Jimmy Kimmel Halloween candy prank goes viral! The late-night host asks parents to record themselves telling their children that they ate all of the Halloween candy in the house. Predictably, the Kimmel-inspired prank creates some pretty hilarious moments for all of us to enjoy!

The reactions this year ran the gamut. One child looked completely dumbfounded that his dad could betray him. Others accused their parents of being selfish. There were temper tantrums, swear words, and even demands that the parents spit the candy out. One mom got flipped off by her upset young son.

But, there were some kids who might pull at your heartstrings. They immediately forgave their parents! Those kids must have very big hearts. Collecting candy during Halloween takes a lot of effort. Going through your stash is a bit of a treasure hunt that kids look forward to. The fact that some of these kids instantly offered forgiveness says quite a lot about their character.

Jimmy felt that since his daughter is now old enough, it’s only fair that he pull the same prank on her that he requests of other parents. So, he and his wife told their daughter, Jane, they gobbled up all of her Halloween candy except for one Smartie they left for her.

Jane handled it rather well, but she looked a little confused when her dad said, “Jimmy Kimmel told me to do it.” That would confuse me, too!

Actor Channing Tatum was guest hosting for Jimmy, so he felt the need to prank his four-year-old daughter Everly, too. As she grabs her mother in tears, Tatum told her that he was just so hungry. But, as you can see in the video below, it all ended well!

I don’t think Channing will be doing that to Everly again next year! He seemed about as upset about the prank as Everly did.
