Dean Ambrose And Renee Send A Fan To WrestleMania

WWE Superstars often work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant wishes for young fans. Likewise, video game retailer GameStop holds an annual in-store donation campaign benefiting Make-A-Wish. And this year, GameStop kicked off their donation season by granting a wish live on stage at the GameStop Expo in Las Vegas, courtesy of WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose and WWE announcer Renee Young.

Solomon is a young fan who battles muscular dystrophy; Ambrose is his favorite wrestler. On Thursday, Solomon was granted the wish of a lifetime when Ambrose told him he’s going to WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans:

Especially with someone as rough around the edges as Ambrose, it can be easy to forget that WWE Superstars do so much more than wrestle. WWE stars impact so many fans with everything they do – and, sometimes, it’s the fans who end up impacting them.

No matter how you feel about what’s going on on Raw and SmackDown week in and week out, there’s no denying that WWE cares about its fans. In the eyes of many of the Make-A-Wish children battling terminal and incurable conditions, people like Dean Ambrose, John Cena, and others are literal super heroes, and it’s commendable that WWE does everything they can to put a smile on kid’s faces.
