The infamous OJ Simpson White Ford Bronco made a recent appearance on Pawn Stars. The cameras followed Rick Harrison as he took it for a spin to decide if he wanted to buy the notorious car that OJ used as a getaway vehicle following the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Chumlee also came along for some laughs. He wanted to play the role of OJ on this ride. “I get the back seat, and we’re getting on the freeway,” he said.
The Bronco is owned by Mike Gilbert, who was OJ’s agent at the time. He bought it from Al Cowlings, the owner of the Bronco, and OJ’s getaway driver.
The Pawn Stars were trying to decide if purchasing the car was a solid investment. Since OJ is being released, the timing is good. As you can tell in the video below, the 25-year-old Bronco handled well. But, ultimately this is still a big risk.
I can understand why Rick took a pass. He has to make a profit on anything he buys and $1.3 million seems to be all risk with little room for reward.
