pawn stars chumlee

Chumlee has been reemerged and is reinventing himself. The Pawn Stars favorite wrote a guest column for Las Vegas Review-Journal. He filled in for Robin Leach for a day while Leach is vacationing. That’s where Chumlee spilled the beans, or the tootsie rolls.

After dispelling internet rumors that he is dead, Chumlee, whose name is actually Austin Lee Russell, is opening a candy store. It’s conveniently right across the plaza from the pawn shop. He decided to try his own hand at entrepreneurship as he waits for a promotion at the pawn shop.

“Chumlee’s Candy on the Boulevard features nostalgic candy from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, Pez and a huge assortment of Pez dispensers ranging from Star Wars to Disney to Pokemon characters, among others. We also carry other oldies but goodies such as candy buttons, Necco Wafers, Pop Rocks, BB Bats, Zotz and many others. You’ll just have to come down and take a trip down a sugared memory lane! Also, don’t miss the huge assortment of salt water taffy and other bulk favorites like gummy bears and worms, Lemonheads, Sour Patch and more. Of course, I had to include some of my favorites like Bottle Caps and Razzles, too,” the Pawn Star wrote.

Chumlee allowed the local news a behind the scene look at the candy store before it’s grand opening. It’s a more tamer look than what many of us have expected from Chumlee. You can see that video below.

Chumlee is promising to stay at the store most of the time it is open. He will take pictures and sign autographs for fans who are there to take care of their sweet tooth.

Share this if you wish Chumlee well!
