Officials in Utah are battling an out-of-control wildfire that has destroyed 43,436 acres, forcing thousands of residents from their homes.
The fire, near the Brian Heard area of Utah, has devastated parts of southern Utah, and heavy winds are causing the it to spread even further.
According to authorities, the following communities remain evacuated: Panguitch Lake, Horse Valley, Beaver Dam, Castle Valley, Blue Springs, Rainbow Meadows, Mammoth Creek, Dry Lakes, Second Left Hand Canyon, and Brian Head.
Officials are also warning residents to check local roads before planning to travel in the region.
