Roseanne Barr’s hit show is returning to airwaves. Fans of the 90s-era program will be in for a real treat when all the actors get back together to revive the series.
Since the show centered on the events of an American working class family, Roseanne thinks there is a special reason for her sitcom’s return.
According to the New York Post, Barr was overheard telling John Goodman, her co-star, that the election of Donald Trump helped bring attention back to the series.
“Our eavesdropper tells us that Goodman said, ‘I never thought in a million years we’d be back,’ and that Barr replied, ‘I did. As soon as I saw the election results, I knew we’d be back.’”
Wow. Can you imagine that? Trump isn’t just bringing jobs back to the country, he also helped bring back a beloved TV show!
I loved “Roseanne” back when it was on TV. I’m looking forward to the new iteration!
