The stories of cops using their guns are the ones that normally make it into the news. The fact is, most cops rarely, if ever, have to use deadly force. This video of a cop doing what is absolutely needed to stop a bat-wielding man at a police station is pretty amazing!
It’s not very smart to swing a baseball bat in front of a police station, and one might think they’d take a shot at him but they didn’t have to.

OOF. That is an amazing takedown by the cop. This kind of story won’t get much notice because nobody was shot. But this is the kind of thing cops have to deal with on a daily basis.
People should think more about that.
