This Couple’s Pet Is Unlike Anything You’ve Ever Seen

You may have heard of unusual pet stories, but you’ve probably never heard anything quite like Ronnie and Sherron Bridges’ pet story.

The Texas couple have a 2,500 pound pet buffalo name Wild Thing who lives in the house with him. When Ronnie lost his vision in his left eye, the couple sold off their her of 52 buffalo. They kept one calf and named him Wild Thing.

It was Sherron’s idea to let Wild Thing in the house. Buffalos are the largest land mammals native to this continent, but that didn’t deter the Bridges.

Wild Thing has a barn and plenty of land to roam, but he likes being in the house. He loves watching westerns on the TV in his favorite room. He even eats breakfast at the kitchen table.

He is such an integral part of their lives that he was the Best Man in Ron and Sherron’s wedding ten years ago.

As you can tell in the video below, these pictures are not photoshopped! This is their everyday life. They share their home with an enormous buffalo!

No word on whether Wild Thing is house trained. I can’t imagine how that would work out!

I’m a to-each-his-own kind of person, but this one really has me scratching my head! I’m glad they are all happy together!
