Gene Simmons is a man who isn’t afraid to speak his mind. He’s never been impressed with Liberal Hollywood and he had some tough words for his fellow celebrities who feel the constant need to give their political opinions.
He’s completely right. Singing or acting doesn’t qualify a celebrity’s opinion to be more important than that of the average citizen. They can always stop their whining or they can move to another country, as some have promised in the past.
Back in 2017, Simmons detailed how the Electoral College was brilliant and how then-Hillary Clinton supporters needed to accept the fact that they had lost to Donald Trump and just move on.
But it’s not just contemporary politics that the rock legend has an opinion about – and he’s not the only member of KISS who feels that way!
After the controversy of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick kneeling for the National Anthem, lead singer Paul Stanley was sick to his stomach.
He stopped a concert to give the left both barrels and do the Pledge of Allegiance!
Watch this, starting around the 2:30 mark:
In part, here is what Stanley said:
“You should remember, patriotism is always cool. Loving your country is always cool. Standing up, respecting and honoring our military is always cool. So, to show some respect between pick-throwing, we’re going to put our right hands over our hearts and why don’t we say the Pledge of Allegiance.”
Share this if you agree with Gene Simmons and think celebrities should shut their pieholes!
