Last year, Pentatonix amazed us with Mary Did You Know. This year, their Christmas album includes the ballad that’s become shorthand for intensity of hope through pain and pathos. It is a love song, or, at least, a song about love.
The Pentatonix bring their incredible harmonies and balance to this modern classic, stripping it down to its bare and raw elements in some moments and bringing the richness of their ensemble to the stunning finish.

While some might say that “Hallelujah” has been overused enough to qualify as an internet cat meme, I love the drama and emotion of the song and I love seeing what each unique artist brings to the piece.
