TMZ is reporting that Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.
The reason behind the divorce appears to be a conflict over their many children as well as substance abuse and anger.
Angelina is asking for custody of their six children, but requests the Judge give Pitt visitation.
She does not want Brad to have joint physical custody.
Angelina became “fed up” with Brad’s marijuana smoking and possibly with his alcohol consumption. She also felt his “anger problem” had become dangerous for their children.
Jolie is being represented by Laura Wasser. She is not asking for spousal support.
The date of separation is listed as September 15, 2016.
Pitt and Jolie married in August 2014, but had been together since 2004.
