University of Texas

A new law is now in effect in Texas that allows concealed handgun license holders to carry guns on public campuses. Second Amendment supporters are cheering this very Texas move to expand our right to bear arms.

Freedom loving Texans are applauding this law because it allows them to protect themselves. As you can see in the video below, there are some restrictions to this, but the law is being hailed as a big step in the right direction.

The law took effect on the 50th anniversary of the mass shooting from the University of Texas’ landmark clock tower. From the observation deck of the tower, Charles Whitman used rifles, pistols, and a sawed-off shotgun to kill 13 and wound 30 people.

The gun free zone at the time gave Whitman the ability to take more lives. Gun free zones are an advertisement for crazy people to find soft targets.

I would definitely carry my gun on campus. Bravo to Texas for expanding our liberties!

Please share this if you believe in the Second Amendment!
