Chance encounters sometimes produce amazing results. It is even better when those moments can be caught on camera for other people to see. That’s what happened in the case of a man merely waiting for a train.
A 99 year old World War II veteran was waiting in line to catch an Amtrak train when an Amtrak worker noticed him.
What happened next was totally unexpected but also, totally amazing. Watch:
Wow. Here is a young man who understands the sacrifice this veteran made. There is the obvious racial difference between the two men, but it DID NOT MATTER.
This was merely a young American, paying tribute in a small but still profound way to a World War II veteran and that should be applauded.
