Tristan McIntosh is making quite the name for herself on American Idol. The fifteen year old was surprised during her audition when her mom who was overseas with the military showed up.
Her tremendous voice has brought her all the way to the Top Eight and she just blew the judges away with an absolutely gorgeous rendition of Vince Gill’s “Go Rest High On That Mountain.”
It takes a lot of courage to sing a Christian song in front of a pop culture audience, but she absolutely nailed it.
This final season of American Idol has been an emotional one. Kelly Clarkson, who was the first American Idol winner, is still getting a lot of buzz regarding her performance on the show a couple weeks ago. She sang a story about how her father abandoned her when she was a child.
The book is about to close on American Idol, but we still have a few more shows to enjoy these contestants who have so much talent.
