Britney Spears is finally getting public support from her little sister Jamie Lynn. The “Zoe 101” star is finally breaking her silence about Britney’s desire to end her conservatorship and shared several Instagram stories.
Jamie Lynn, 30, has been getting backlash since Britney spoke in court last week.
The younger Spears sister was targeted for not speaking up for her sister in the past.

While many Britney fans accuse Jamie Lynn of living off her sister’s fortune while being silent, Jamie Lynn makes it clear that she was waiting for Britney to speak for herself first.

“The only reason I haven’t [spoken] before is because I felt like until my sister was able to speak for herself and say what she felt she needed to say publicly, that it wasn’t my place and it wasn’t the right thing to do,” Jamie Lynn stated. “But now that she’s very clearly spoken and said what she needed to say, I feel like I can follow her lead and say what I feel like I need to say.”

Concerned With Britney’s Happiness
The actress told her followers she is only concerned with Britney’s happiness.
“I don’t care if she wants to run away to a rainforest and have a zillion babies in the middle of nowhere, or if she wants to come back and dominate the world the way she has so many times before, because I have nothing to gain or lose either way,” Jamie Lynn said on Instagram.
“Maybe I didn’t support her the way the public would like me to with a hashtag on a public platform, but I can assure you that I’ve supported my sister long before there was a hashtag, and I’ll support her long after,” the younger Spears sister said.
“I’ve worked since I was 9 years old. I paid my own freaking bills since I was 10 years old,” the former Nickelodeon star said. “Not that I owe the public anything because my sister knows I love and support her. That’s the only person I owe anything to.”

Britney Can’t Get IUD Removed Because of Conservatorship
Britney has been subjected to a conservatorship controlled by her father for the past 13 years.
The pop star had a very public mental health breakdown which led to drastic court measures that remain in place.
In court last week, Britney shocked the public when she said she wants to get married to her boyfriend Sam Asghari and have children but cannot do either without the permission of her father.
