We’re heading back to Silver Falls with My Life with the Walter Boys season 2 as the show gets an official premiere date.

What Happened in the Season 1 Finale?
Season one ended with a bang, with the long-awaited wedding between Will and Hayley at the start. However, the festivities took a drastic turn when a drunken Alex told Jackie that he loved her, and she didn’t say it back.
To make everything worse, Jackie found the teapot Cole had fixed for her and hidden away when she started dating Alex. Realizing how much he cared, Jackie found Cole in the garage and kissed him.
The next day, the two boys find an “I’m sorry” note instead of Jackie in her room, as she boards a plane back to New York with her uncle Richard and Danny Walter, who is attending a theater program at Juilliard.
What is Season 2 About?
Season 2 is chock-full of more romance, sibling love, and country views.
The show will pick up after Jackie left Silver Falls for the summer to head to New York City, caught between her attraction to both Alex and Cole. After spending the summer in the Big Apple, Katherine convinces Jackie to come back to Colorado, where Jackie wants to make amends with Alex and keep her distance from Cole.
However, Alex has changed over the summer, and isn’t keen on making up with Jackie. Instead, he’s focused on training for a rodeo event and soaking up the newfound attention on him. Cole, meanwhile, takes on a new role at school but starts to slide into his old habits.
While Jackie may fit in more at Silver Falls, she will have to balance her two lives before they topple to the ground.
When asked about the upcoming season, creator Melanie Halsall commented, “Season 2 is bigger and better. We’ve got massive set pieces in each episode, and the stories are more intricate. We found our feet with our characters, [and] the actors really understand their characters now.”

New Additions to Silver Falls
There are several new additions to Silver Falls in My Life with the Walter Boys season two. Check out the new actors and their characters below:
- Natalie Sharp is B. Hartford, a champion rodeo rider who catches the eye of one of the Walter Boys.
- Carson MacCormac is Zach, a handsome senior whose charm and confidence are used to make some strong attempts to get to know Nathan better.
- Janet Kidder is Joanne Wagner, Grace’s mom, who is a bit old-fashioned and resistant to change, but is a good friend of Katherine’s.
- Riele Downs is Maria, a flirty girl in Alex’s driver’s ed class who has no problem taking a seat next to him before the class begins, instead of his long-time best friend, Kiley.
- Jake Manley is Wylder Holt, a rising star among bronc riders under 25 and a force to be reckoned with as he crosses paths with Alex.

Behind the Scenes
My Life with the Walter Boys is executive produced by Melanie Halsall, Ed Glauser, and Becky Hartman Edwards. Halsall also serves as the showrunner. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and International Production and iGeneration Studios.
Jason Priestley directed two episodes in season one and has not only returned to direct multiple episodes in the next season but also served as a producer.
When Does My Life with the Walter Boys Season 2 Premiere?
My Life with the Walter Boys season 2 will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, August 28th.
