At this point, spinoffs are becoming expected when it comes to the famed neo-Western drama series on Paramount. While the series just announced a new spinoff called Y: Marshals, there’s another spin-off series in the works as well.
Yellowstone’s spinoff Dutton Ranch is set to premiere this fall. On an Instagram post asking if it was happening, Kelly Reilly, the star behind Beth, commented the word “true” to confirm suspicions. And this is everything we know about the spinoff so far.
Viewers probably suspected, with the amount of spinoffs the franchise was releasing, that Kevin Costner’s exit from the series wouldn’t be the end of the story. And for fans who loved watching Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler’s relationship, you’re in luck. The spinoff Dutton Ranch will focus on those two characters, which will exclusively stream on Paramount+.

While nothing has been released to explain how the show will follow the continuation of the Dutton family, at the end of season 5 in Yellowstone, Kayce helped Beth and Rip save the family ranch by selling it to Thomas Rainwater.
Though Kayce remains on the ranch with his family, Beth and Rip plan on moving their ranching careers to a smaller estate near Dillon, Montana. There are also some thoughts about the family moving down to Texas. Either way the story goes, fans will be in for a treat with the amazing storylines that the franchise always produces.
And if that wasn’t enough spinoffs for you, then you’re in luck, as The Madison is expected to premiere later this year on Paramount+, and a third prequel series, 1944, is also on the way.
With Kevin Costner’s departure from the franchise, it might seem like it’s coming to a close, but that’s far from the truth. There is still so much more story to tell and plots to close up. Hopefully, fans will be able to feel satisfied with the story through these several spinoffs.
