If you’ve been waiting for the day when President Donald Trump’s legendary reality show The Apprentice was available on streaming, you’re in luck. The wait is over!

The Apprentice Is Back

The Apprentice ran on NBC from 2004 to 2017, and it was a massive hit from the start. Indeed, the reality show drew in an average of 20 million viewers a week. For the season one finale, it garnered 28 million viewers.

Remember those days? Times were a bit simpler.

The premise of the show was simple: It was a competition to see who would be Trump’s newest employee. Those who didn’t make it were treated to the famous catchphrase, “You’re fired!”

President Trump made it clear that he could not be any happier that The Apprentice will finally be available for streaming. In fact, in typical Trump fashion, he wasted no time in promoting it himself.

“Back by popular demand, for the first time in 20 years, the Emmy nominated ORIGINAL APPRENTICE STARRING PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP is back!!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social media platform. “Watch Season 1 of The Apprentice, now streaming on Prime Video. New seasons every Monday!”

“I look forward to watching this show myself — such great memories, and so much fun. but most importantly, it was a learning experience for all of us!” Trump later added in a separate statement.

Mark Burnett Responds

The Apprentice was executive produced by Trump and by Mark Burnett, who also created the reality show Survivor. Burnett remains a close friend and ally of Trump’s to this day. After the 2024 presidential election, Burnett was named as Trump’s special envoy to the United Kingdom.

The Apprentice is one of the best shows that I ever produced,” Burnett told Deadline. “The charismatic onscreen presence of President Donald J. Trump made it a bona fide hit. Now, thanks to Prime Video, a whole new audience will experience a new season every Monday.”

“This show is a love letter to New York City,” he continued. “Survivor grew an entirely new massive audience as a result of old seasons being binged during the pandemic. On Monday, March 10, this same phenomenon will begin again… with The Apprentice.”

The Apprentice Season 1 Is Streaming Now

The first season of The Apprenctice can be streamed now. This is the season that featured the villainous Omarosa Manigault Newman, who would go on to work in Trump’s first White House for a brief time.

Trump hosted seven seasons of the regular versions of The Apprentice as well as seven seasons of Celebrity Apprentice. These celebrity seasons were won by Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, Bret Michaels, John Rich, Arsenio Hall, Trace Adkins, and Leeza Gibbons.

Trump left the Apprentice in 2015, when he decided to run for president for the first time. The fifteenth season of The Apprentice, which was a celebrity version, was then hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Meanwhile, anyone who watched the first seasons of The Apprentice back in the day will remember that this show was truly reality TV gold. Don’t waste any time in checking it out on Amazon Prime. You won’t be disappointed!
