Back in November, rumors were swirling that Donald Trump’s presidential win could result in the royal being deported.
Now, Harry has learned his fate from Trump, who made sure to also take a jab at the royal’s American wife Meghan Markle.
Push To Deport Harry
Harry’s immigration status has come under fire as of late. The background is that the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in Washington, DC, has claimed that Harry has concealed his past drug use in his immigration forms. Indeed, in his memoir “Spare,” Harry admitted to using cocaine, cannabis and psychedelics.
The Heritage Foundation is arguing that this should disqualify him from obtaining an American visa. In 2024, the Heritage Foundation sued the Department of Homeland Security to force the release of his U.S. visa records.
“Anyone who applies to the United States has to be truthful on their application, and it is not clear that is the case with Prince Harry,” said Heritage’s Nile Gardiner.
So of course, the media just had to ask President Trump about it, who delivered a classic Trump line roasting Markle in response.

Trump Reveals Harry’s Fate – Slams Meghan
Many speculated that Trump may step in to deport Harry himself. On Friday, however, Trump gave Harry some very good news on this front.
“I don’t want to do that,” Trump told The New York Post when asked if he’ll deport Harry.
Not stopping there, Trump took a dig at Meghan, a former television actress who has spoken out against the current president in the past.
“I’ll leave him alone,” Trump continued. “He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”
Classic Trump. Understated, biting, and disarmingly funny.
Trump then praised Harry’s older brother Prince William, with whom Harry is estranged.
“I think William is a great young man,” Trump said of the likely future King of England. He and William had a private meeting back in December, when they met in Paris during the reopening ceremony of Notre-Dame Cathedral. Since Harry and Meghan have been at odds with William for years, however, Trump’s praise of him will likely not go over well with the couple.
This isn’t the first time that Trump has lashed out at Harry and Meghan. He previously claimed that Harry is “whipped” by Meghan.
“I think poor Harry is being led around by the nose,” Trump once said.
Clearly, there is no love lost between Trump, Harry, and Meghan. While Harry must be relieved that Trump has no plans to deport him, he certainly must be livid about the president’s criticism of his wife!
