For their wedding anniversary, a sweet and rather nontraditional portrait of the couple was released.

This special image was more informal than the traditional portraits of the pass. This picture humanizes the Elizabeth and Philip not just as royals, but also as loving grandparents.

Their marriage has blessed them with four children, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

In the anniversary portrait, the couple are happily looking at a homemade anniversary card made by three of their great-grandchildren.

Prince William’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis gifted them with artwork.

The sweet picture shows a table filled with anniversary cards in front of them. They chose a special one made just for them by three children they love with all their hearts.

Pomp and circumstance took a backseat for the Royal Family on this special day.
