‘It’s Really Going To Determine The Rest Of His Life’
Daily Mail reported that Sharon revealed over the weekend that she would be flying back to Los Angeles from London to be there for Ozzy during this difficult time. Ozzy, 73, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease back in 2019, and he has not been seen publicly since May, when he was seen using a cane to walk around.
“Ozzy] has a very major operation on Monday, and I have to be there,” Sharon said. “It’s really going to determine the rest of his life.”
Sharon, 69, went on to say that Ozzy has a lot to look forward to after his operation, as their son Jack’s baby daughter with fiancée Aree Gearheart is due “in about three weeks.” Sharon and Ozzy are also set to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on July 1.

Sharon Has To Care For Ozzy ‘A Lot’
When asked by Piers Morgan how Ozzy was doing back in April, Sharon replied, “He’s doing okay, he sends you his love. He’s got one more operation left to do and then he’s dying to come back home.”
Sharon also recently confessed that she has to care for Ozzy “a lot” due to his health problems.
“It’s very difficult, because the combination of the Parkinson’s and his accident, you go, well, which one is this?” she lamented. “Why’s this happening? Why’s that happening?”
When he went public with his Parkinson’s diagnosis back in 2020, Ozzy said that it was “just another thing on my plate.”
“Well the one question from me was, ‘Is it a terminal illness?,’ and the guy says, ‘No, but life is,'” he said.
“It’s just another thing on my plate I have got to deal with. I’m not in the slightest worried about it. I’ve not got any secrets. The initial shock is I’ve got Parkinson’s,” Ozzy added. “Nobody knows what the f*** it is. I didn’t know anything about it apart from the name.”

‘It’s Been Terribly Challenging For Us All’
Earlier that same year, Ozzy needed neck surgery after suffering from a fall.
“It’s been terribly challenging for us all,” he said at the time. “I did my last show New Year’s Eve at The Forum. Then I had a bad fall. I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerves.”
Ozzy was forced to cancel his tour because of his health problems, and while he was hoping to reschedule the dates, he also said that he would not perform again until he was “100% confident” that he could “pull it off.”
