Ozzy Osbourne Covid

The television personality Sharon Osbourne has just revealed on her new British television show “The Talk UK” that her husband, the legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, has tested positive for COVID-19.

‘I Am Very Worried About Ozzy Right Now’

“I spoke to him and he’s OK. I am very worried about Ozzy right now,” said Sharon, 69, according to People Magazine. “We’ve gone two years without him catching COVID and it’s just Ozzy’s luck he would get it now.”

“It’ll take me a week to get my old man back on his feet again, and I will be back [on the show] in a week,” she added. “We’re gonna get him a negative test by next week.”

Back in 2020, Ozzy revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003. He also revealed at the time that he needed neck surgery after suffering from a fall.

“I’m no good with secrets,” the now-73 year-old said at the time. “I cannot walk around with it anymore ’cause it’s like I’m running out of excuses, you know? It’s been terribly challenging for us all.”

‘It’s Not A Death Sentence’

However, he told RADIO.COM one month later that this was not a “death sentence.”

“I’ve known I’ve had Parkinson’s since 2003,” he revealed. “It’s not a death sentence…It’s a mild form of Parkinson’s at the moment. I’m not shaking.”

“The doctor told me that I probably walk by 10 people a day who have got it and don’t even know they’ve got it,” Ozzy added. “You don’t get a pimple on your forehead, you just start walking a bit funny I suppose.”

Ozzy and Sharon recently told Variety that their decades-long romance will be chronicled in an upcoming untitled movie that will be written by Oscar-nominated Lee Hall.

“Our relationship at times was often wild, insane and dangerous but it was our undying love that kept us together,” Sharon said. “We’re thrilled to partner with Sony Pictures and Polygram to bring our story to the screen.”

Sharon Fired From U.S. Talk Show

The New York Daily News reported that Sharon was fired from the U.S. version of “The Talk” last year after over a decade with the show. Her firing came about after she dared to defend her good friend Piers Morgan from accusations that he was racist for speaking out against Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry.

Sharon is now hosting the new British show that is also called “The Talk” on TalkTV alongside Morgan. We will continue to keep her beloved husband Ozzy in our thoughts and prayers as he battles COVID-19!
